xtx seat swap out with M1100

Hello everyone, I am looking for info on doing a seat swap. my current set up is a 2017 sidewinder xtx with the factory trail seat. I have sat on a BTX with the mountain seat a couple months ago found I prefer the seating position that it offers. I have been looking for approx 6-7 weeks to find a replacement but nothing yet. But i have came across a lot of 20121/2013 Arctic cat M1100 seats that on first glance would appear to work. but appearances are deceiving. that's why I'm here. I am hoping someone else might have encountered someone else that may have done this successfully.

Will it fit or NOT. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m afraid not if you want a direct swap, the seat pans and gas tanks are different.

thanks for the reply. i will have to keep looking for a mtx/btx seat, from what i understand they are a direct swap. please correct if i am mistaken.

Yes any Cat or Yamaha sled with 998 will work.
