I came to a conclusion as well my XTX is a must for a re-valve of all shocks. I'm already running Triple rate springs in front and handling has impressed me thus far. However, coming off an Apex Gt with Pioneer re-valve on rear Ohlins shock the XTX is light years away from being as comfortable of a ride. The stock valving feels awful harsh in big bumps with font shocks bottoming occasionally. Smaller studder bumps the sled behaved well for the most part. Anything, over 8" made me cringe. Will have to consult with Pioneer, Hygear and Carver on a what their solutions are...

I had Monster Performance re-valve all my shocks on 09 xtx. MUCH BETTER. Little bumps are smoother and when I did bottom out it did not radiate up the spine like before. I think it was about $240 with 2 day or overnight shipping and heavy duty bottom out bumpers.
Ian was fast ans easy to work with.

If i was to do it over I would have done Ohlines in the back, and a revalve in the front with the multi rate springs from hygear. I spent $1250 on hygear sport x package and it doesn't do well in my sled.
