Have a 09 xtx I just bought and was all nervous about the write ups about the handling on these sleds. I researched skis until my eyes went cross eyed, and decided to go with a good set of carbides first before i went to new skis. Thank god I did this! This is no BS! These carbides freaking work! This sled handle like there were magnets under the skis. Precise cornering with very aggresive riding. I put 225 miles on in New York on Sat. and only had inside ski lift twice. I was very impressed! The back end would break loose before the skis pushed. This sled rocks! Can't wait to put the hammer down on this sled again on the trails. Nice job Woody's! I went with the most carbide possible on the slim jim's. I think I could have gone down one size.

good to hear that works well for you. Sure beats replacing ski's. I got a pair aswell with the 6" carbide. I just got my '10 XTX so i think i might wait until i wear out my stock factory runners first. Do you think i should just change them over now?
