yamaha #2 in sales

I know you see alot of Doo's but 50% is a little hard to believe - my dealer sells all four, and he claims Yamaha outsold Doo this year 2 to 1 - I really doubt that they have 50% of the market!

P.S. - Okay, I see that was Canadian sales - that I guess I could see - I would be curious to see the U.S. figures - I think Yamaha is going to take a big leap in the next 2 years - I don't think there is any future for 2 strokes and everyone will be playing catch up with 4 strokes!

I really cant beleive their is that many stupid people who buy doo, to make it number one, I just dont understand it.

You would figure people would wise up and make yamaha number one, as they are number one, and the facts are the facts.

OOHHH well no one is perfect, :die ski-doo

i ride a ski doo and dont think im stupid, and im not so brand loyal or insecure that i hope ski doo stays no.1 and please dont tell me to ride one i have. i rode with the apex all day and rode it for 2 hours its a great snowmachine. if another manufacturer makes something that works for me ill buy it. and the exact words out of the apex owners mouth about my 2006 x 151 summit were i wanted to get my hands on one of these there terorizing everything on the mountain. and he was not dissapointed with his 2 hours. and the reason im on this forum is my son is buying the apex in 2007 and i support him for what he wants

I would not classify SkiDooers as stupid. The rev is a fine machine, I just don't like being stuck in one riding position. If I were to purchase a Skidoo, it would be in the RT platform.

Well, add another APEX GT to the numbers for 2006. I just bought a dealer demo from my dealer here in IL. $8500 with one year warranty, 144 studs, 8" carbides, cover, and he threw in a higher windshield and new snow flap that got chewed up. Still comes with the full one year warranty because it was a demo and never registered and free financing till January 07. 291 miles on it too boot!!!! I about pissed my pants on the deal. So...... now my wife has her own APEX to along with my APEX GT I bought on Power Surge last year. D*(M I wish the snow would hold a bit longer. Sold the 2002 Viper to a guy same day.

I am just sooo incredibly happy with my APEX GT. Bottoms out hard on the 1 percent sinkers I hit during the day, but hte 99 percent of the day it is flawless! Hung with my buddies 98 SRX on the tight twisty's quite nicely.

Look at what Yamaha did to increase their sales,
Look what Polaris and Arctic Cat didn't do, and decreased their sales.

Well then, using your logic, look what Cat did do this year...that should put them close to the top for next season, right? 80% of Cat's lineup is new.

Yeah - Ski Doo riders are not stupid! - let's just say they are "mentally deficient"! LOL

Why would you say that? Rev's a great sled. If I wasn't on a yamaha I'd be on a rev.

was up at the duck mountains for a week . saw lots of sleds , cats doos and evan 2 new confusions but not evan 1 apex or attack . Came across 5 RX1's 2were my buddys and mine and 3 rs models . Yamaha not doing as well in that part of the country .
