Yamaha 2008 fall promotions

Does anyone know when Yamaha generally puts out there fall promos for sleds. My local dealer has a 2008 40th ltx and I wan to buy it, but there are no promotions on it right now but the price seems high. $10,300.00

That's cheap for Canada. In 2006 when I was thinking off buying my Apex GT off my local CDN dealer, it was 14,600.00 CDN. U.S. side of the border was 10,100.00.

That is high. You should be able to get those around 9,000 to 9,500 maybe less. I purchased my NEW 2006 Apex RTX in the summer of 2006 for $8000.

In metro Detroit, where most of the dealers are ignorant hucksters, that sled was $12,500, no deals, last fall / early winter when I was looking.

The Yamaha fall promo's come out right about now, mid to late August. I'm waiting myself, to see what I can score an '07 laftover for. In the past, Yamaha has offered as much as $2K in rebates on the high end sleds....

If I got mine for 10300 last year I still would be doing backflips. I paid 15000 + Tax for my 08 last fall.

07 Apex GT was $7500 US last March here in IL. Snuck up north and tossed 500 miles on it the last few days of March. Buddy paid 7000 for his ER. Found that one in Minn. Same dealer I bought mine at eventually dropped the ER down to $7000 also...but now I just peeked and there back up at $7499.00 for the ER and $7999.00 for the GT...
