Just heard a rumor that Yamaha is getting back into snow-cross?
Is this true...???
Heard they are trying to get a 750cc 4-Stroke for the late part of this snow-x season...

I've said it before. I'll say it again. They release a snowcross sled and it'll be in my driveway. I want one pretty bad and I'd rather not have to go to another brand.

Mike, I heard on Sat. it will be a 750cc 4-stroke with Expert-X style skid. The best part is we can buy this one. Keep your fingers crossed that it snows all week long. I am don with your alignment tool so I should swing buy this week and drop it off. I wanna ride now. Doug

Welcome onboard NY_SXR700. Long time, do u still ride the SXR? I would love to ride a snoX sled again if Yamaha ever make a really good one. rxrider (sxrider at TY)

An optimistic fellow shared that rumor with me a while back. I'd love to see it, but I don't see how the current 4 stroke chassis can support it. I also can't see Yamaha coming out with a whole new consumer chassis just for ditch bangers. All the manufacturers want to build only one chassis, and swap motors back and forth, etc.

My wet dream is Yamaha building a tube chassis with the 750cc 4stroke, 3 cylinder with EFI, coming in at 450lbs dry. We would be rolling in new sleds! We'd need a whole other TY board!hehe
