Buddies 800 Etec Renegade came with a track prepared for studs. As long as you use the pattern they recommend you are okay.

Huh, that's weird my Phazer MTX has an under tunnel exhaust but no protectors. I believe all the Phazers came without them.

Basically they F-'d up and didn't allow room for studs. How that happens in this day and age is beyond me. Oh the headlines, I can see it already, the others could have a field day with this. Whether you run them or not you can't argue this is a major oversight. If that's the case is it safe to assume you won't be able to run a 1.375 or 1.5" track either?

I hear you.... They need to fix this now...... With the internet and the way things explode, I can just see it now. Don't buy an Apex, because you can't stud it....

I rode my 08 a few times without studs. Not safe at all. This is crazy.

just did a 800 etec with 96 studs... ski doo marks pattern on track, and they still honor track warranty for a year with studs... as long as you use the patern marked....

looks like the little smart engineers accross the ocean forgot that they need to get all that power to the ground...

Just received a call from mine.

They told me to bring it in and they will make it right for me.
