That's the otherthing that peeves me off, the past few years (including this year) you see better deals at the dealers than snowcheaking in the spring, that's not right!!!

True! Sometimes special snowcheck only sleds are worth it, but it’s really a gamble. A big early snow year can raise the demand of these models or big deals could be had with a slow winter or economy. Any extra fall incentives should be tacked on to snow checks as well. I might just wait for next fall just to be safe.

where did you get this infoScottyR said:Just a heads up, Yamaha Canada is doing a price increase of 8-15% on EVERYTHING including parts and units on Jan 1/09.
If you are sitting on the fence about buying something, you should get into your dealer and get it done.

Yamaha sent out an email on Thurs afternoon telling all the dealers about the price increase effective Jan 2/09. My buddy is a big Yamaha dealer in Toronto and emailed me the copy of the letter.

Already happening here in Winterpeg. I bought a part yesterday at the stealership, morning price was $12.92, afternoon price, after they updated their price list, $18.54, WTF.

I would check a different dealer the increase is 10 to 15% not 40%.

I will not buy another new Yamaha in Canada. I would buy another in the US if the price is right though. Screw Yamaha Canada.

Prices are up boys!! XTX price has jumped $900. The accessories are up and range 10 to 15% above the previous prices.
