YAMAHA CANADA PRICE INCREASE - JAN 1/09

.. I’m due for a new snowcheck this spring and I have an open mind.

That's the otherthing that peeves me off, the past few years (including this year) you see better deals at the dealers than snowcheaking in the spring, that's not right!!!

True! Sometimes special snowcheck only sleds are worth it, but it’s really a gamble. A big early snow year can raise the demand of these models or big deals could be had with a slow winter or economy. Any extra fall incentives should be tacked on to snow checks as well. I might just wait for next fall just to be safe.

its a scam ....theyre just trying to scare us into buying cause they aint sellin!

Just a heads up, Yamaha Canada is doing a price increase of 8-15% on EVERYTHING including parts and units on Jan 1/09.

If you are sitting on the fence about buying something, you should get into your dealer and get it done.
where did you get this info

Yamaha sent out an email on Thurs afternoon telling all the dealers about the price increase effective Jan 2/09. My buddy is a big Yamaha dealer in Toronto and emailed me the copy of the letter.

Already happening here in Winterpeg. I bought a part yesterday at the stealership, morning price was $12.92, afternoon price, after they updated their price list, $18.54, WTF.

I would check a different dealer the increase is 10 to 15% not 40%.

I am glad I bought my sled last year yamaha Canada sent me a 900.00 dollar cheque even at that the Canadian sled were still 1000.00 more than the U.S.A
