This kinda or problem, as well as people who store their sleds in dealers over the summer need to be paid more attention too with the tuff economic times, rising sleds/atv/motorcycle costs and so on, this is going to happen alot more as more and more dealers will be forced out. I've noticed myself locally that we have not had any closings at all with any dealers, they have actually all been expanding so i guess around the NY capitol we are good, but im still always cautious.
As far as your money, as long as the dealer did put your order in with yamaha you will be fine, but you will more then likely have to negotiate a new deal with another dealer, just as someone said above he had to do in the past. But if the dealer took your money for himself knowing he was hurting, your out of luck..
Dont worry though im sure you will be fine, and on a new sled this winter!
