have been told that preferred power sports in syracuse ny will have the new 07s and phazers to ride in a demo ride at there yamafest weekend march 11 and 12 . ye all come ride and try them out they said. call for information 315-699-2592 spring order is here

might want to hold up with that information. That hasn't been confirmed through the powers that make the decisions yet. I will post as soon as I know because I will be there to do the demo rides for Yamaha.. The 07's will be going to NH for a bit then will be back in NY but they haven't been released for consumer rides yet...mike

yep It was great to take the dealers for the rides. We had 11 groups of riders on sunday and 7 groups on saturday,with every sled utilized, and for a few we had to put people on the 06's until we stopped and rotated. Was a fun weekend. There is 4 guys, (myself included) that are contracted through Yamaha to coordinated and run the Demo ride through-out NYS and then there is a husband and wife team that drives a 50 ft enclosed to certain events within the NE region. The remaining sleds get transported by the 2 guys that are on the smaller dealer events. We just don't want bad info going out because people show up expecting to ride the 07's and then when we tell them they can't yet they get bent and give us slack about it being posted here. If Big Blue changes its mind and the 07's can be ridden by consumers at that event, I will post so people can know...

i did check with them today and they said last year they had the new 06s and that yamaha at the syracuse show monday night told them that they will have 07s including the phazer

We will have them with us but we haven't got the release to allow consumers to ride the phasers yet. I will let ya know by PM when I get word....

Minnesota Demo Rides and Sneak Preveiws!

There will be a Yamafest Demo Ride open to the public on Saturday March 11 and Sunday March 12 at the Ski Gull ski area near Brainerd Minnesota. They will have a new 2007 Phazer FX and a 2007 Attack GT to ride along with all the 2006 models, the hours are from 9am-4pm both days. Call Brothers Motorsports at 218-829-6656 for information. This Yamafest is being held at a WSA Hillcross race, this should be a fun weekend! There is also a Yamaha Spring Power Surge Sneak Preview being held at the Sheraton Hotel in Minnetonka next to Ridgedale shopping Center on Saturday March 11th from 4pm-9pm. A Power Surge Sneak Preveiw is also being held in Duluth on Thursday March 9 from 4pm-9pm at the DECC and in St Cloud on Monday March 13th at he Holiday Inn from 4pm-9pm. Looks like Yamaha week in Minnesota!

I just got back from there. That is one fun little sled. The efi needs a little tweaking along with the clutching I think. It rode real nice even with beat shocks. The rear end sucked everything up. It was pretty tough to get out of shape going through the bumps. Looking at the speedo I saw 75 without much trouble, not much more left though.
