Yamaha Fx Nytro Rtx Er 08 to freeride 141"

Hey everybody!

I drove stock fx nytro rtx one winter..it is good sled already stock but I want to make it better freeride sled. Hopefully you understand my english, it is not very good.

A couple of photos last winter, when it was almost standard.

This was a little problem.










Start situation

Then occured a little accident



new front frame fitted.


Old "elephant ears" must to change to better boards.


So I made itself new running boards for aluminum.



and installed..


Then old "soffa"



And new seat.










I took studprotector off.


I wondered end of the winter why engine will not spin faster than 7200rpm. That's why. I must to screw up about 1cm (0,4")



Old and new track. It is 141 " x 15" x 2.25".



Oops.




New bigger wheels.


I went sliding across the frame last winter so I made reinforcements.



Hopefully they withstand even they are only 6mm thick.


New tunnel lengthening




I puted PE-plastic tunnel.


Anymore must to put rear shocks and track suspension in position. Track suspension front shock was broken and I bought new shock. Also, I used to support, and adjusted all the harder and more sensitive to shocks.




At weekend snowmobile has been finished. Waiting for winter..

I made rollers to front latch.


And I also made reinforcement between 2-wheels of aluminum.



Now it's ready for winter! Waiting for snow. Maybe I will to change orginal ski to Polaris gripperski.

Liking the new boards!

Yea, I made them too thin tube. Its wall thickness of only 1.5 mm. I took paint off and I will drive at next winter yet.. then I made better, cooler and stronger boards!!

Jes! Forecast for the next week promised to snow and frost. Winter is coming!

How does it feel with the new track??the gripper skis are very good skis! But you should look at the simmons flexi gen 3 .they are made fore yamy 4 strokes.billetx have them

The new track felt like to infectious effectively to the ground. Sled went forward and not left the brush. I like. Hope understand what I mean.. I have never heard them.. Interesting ski.

Do you know how they work on the trail?

Nytro is a great freeride sled so I made film about this. Includes jumping, powder surfing, trail driving, snocross etc.
