Does anyone know the angle(s) of an 8BV86 helix, or what they came on? Thanks

Doesn't show on the chart in the Tech Pages. Might be a superseded number. Maybe one of our resident clutching experts will chime in!

Thanks for the reply guys. From what you are all telling me the 8bv30 is a 43* and the 8bv86 is also a 43*. They are for sure not identical angles when matcing them up though. Now I am really confussed.

I seen that too, thanks anyway fellas. I have not been able to find anything else on this Helix. It was on a 99 SRX 600 that I recently bought. I don't think it was original....

I actually spent a bit of time trying to research this and came up empty too. The only thing I can think of is Bender used to custom grind helix's from Yamaha blanks and maybe this is one of those. Maybe ask them.
