Yamaha Loyalists...Open Your Eyes! Yamaha DeliveredB Big!

Phaser $7000

Skidoo freestyle $4000

Last i checked i didnt know too many entry lever riders with $7000 to spend on a sled.. (unless there rich parents pay for it)

I think the PHaser is a kick butt sled.. and is almost over built for its purpose..

IMO i don't think it's an entry level sled at all. your paying $7000 for a wicked ditchbanger. the suspension is too advanced for any entry level sled(fx model).

SuperStroker is not a dealer just a very smart comsumer looking at the facts.

Brian now days, the Gen Y kids are spoiled and I know I do the same to my own kids....LOL

I was out to Medice Bow Lodge 2 weeks ago. This is where Yamaha did a lot of testing a photo shots for their brochers. The people there said that Yamaha was coming out with a new sled with an old name, and that the new sled would kikk butt in snow cross. When I seen the PhaZer, I thought WOW. This is what they were talking about. The folks at Medicine Bow Lodge had the oppertunity to ride 1 and said it is awsome. I hope they are right. We will be seeing soon.

Im not so sure that the Phazer was designed as an entry-level sled.
I think its more Yamaha's way of sticking it to the 4-stroke haters who have been saying that you cant make a lightweight 4-stroke.
The Phazer has way too many feaures to be a stripped-down, entry level sled, IMO.

I think the jury is still out as far as the engine goes. I have my doubts as to how well a dirtbike based engine that spins at 11,000 rpm is going to hold up.

According to people at MCXpress, you shouldn't think of the Phazer engine as 2*250 dirtbike engines but rather 1/2 superbike engine. And 11 000 rpm's is nothing in that case. The dirtbike inheritance probably sounds better for marketing purposes though.
