Your downpipe is cracked? Or your header is cracked? There is a 99.9% chance your header has multiple cracks. Simons header is junk. I know, I have one and its been welded multiple times. My wastegate broke clean off, multiple cracks at the flange, 1 tube cracked all the way around the flange, etc. The header has to support the full weight of the turbo by itself, plus the wastegate if you are running an external one, plus the weight of the exhaust after the turbo. It doesnt last more than a season or two on a race sled, let alone an actual trail sled out bouncing around hitting bumps all day long. Jannetty was at one time making headers to replace them, dont know if he still is or not. Next time mine cracks, I have a guy lined up to make me a new actual 4 into 1 stainless header. He also only wants 1/3 the price of simons to make it. I was not aware of how bad this was until I bought my sled. I would have bought something else if I knew beforehand. Just search cracked headers on here, only one brand will come up. Im sure the pics and stories will shock you.

Year six with my original Simons header and down pipe.....90 percent trail.
Both are heat wrapped.... No cracks no weld repairs.
Must be lucky
