IMHO once you have taken it apart a few times it really is easy but, still takes about 15 minutes to take all panels off, airbox, headlight assembly and I usually take the headlight support off too.
I do feel that having to remove the battery, unbolt the ECU bracket, disconnect the starter wire and moving the bracket/support that holds the battery is a bit much just to get at the oil filter. Then once you can access the filter there isn't much room to get a turn on it to remove it with an oil filter wrench. So I use a big a$$ pair of channel locks.
Try hooking up the manometer to synch the throttle bodies!! Those little rubber caps with little tiny clamps are very very hard to get at!!! I'm not complaining though because it's way harder on my bike.
