Yamaha Viper or Artic cat ZR 7000

Thanks. I know about the relay . Same on my vector . So will replace it. If it hasn't been done.
The Vector/Apex is a different relay then the Viper, those you just updated to the solid state.
For the Viper/AC you will need to relocate the Fuse box out onto the belt guard, then if you have a no start in extreme cold, just open side panel and pull relay and warm up in your hand, then it will work. Happens to my buddy's 15 Viper in extreme cold, relocating the box was the solution and Travis at Barn of Parts sells a bracket for this. If you don't move it and it happens you have to do a lot of disassembly to access the relay.

Thanks for giving me that info. I am going to look at it in the morning and will look into it more if I buy it.

Take the advice for the relocation of the fuse box. I had some time to kill at my cottage and decided to take the hood off to check my chain tension. This is not a job you want to do outside in the snow. The temps that day were about -10 Celsius. Trying to put the hood back on in the cold is a bear. The plastic shrinks and getting the two screw holes at the front underneath ligned up is not easy. It took about 15 minutes. If it were colder it would only be worse. On the trail all the others with you would be upset.

Go to Barn of parts website. There is a good description and installation instructions. I have ordered from Travis a couple of times and the items are always as advertised, reasonably priced and shipped promptly. Yes even to Canada

I'll do. Thanks

2K cheaper for the Cat version? I wouldn't think twice going that route regardless.

Congrats on your new Cat, you will love the handling and engine
