YAMAHA- WHATS MY KIDS BUYING???

...I refuse to give my kids something that they need to learn to work for...I think I spoil them now with the used sleds I get them to ride. Me and my wife didnt have much when we where kids...to many brothers and sisters...I really learned to appreciate a hard earned dollar...thought I would share this with you....take it for what its worth.

I agree to a point..but...when they were building cheap small sleds..like the Ovation..nobody bought them. Look at the Phazer! You couldn't give them away. Look for used..ETs and Phazers are still great learner sleds today. If you want a BRP..go get one...look at all the indy lites running around the trail..ooohhh riiiight there isn't any.

I started out on a 74 GP 338 it was a blast then graduated to a Phazer '86 to me I still think that it was the best starter sled ever produced. I had a PSI pipe on it and it only weighted only 400 lbs. If they could produce something that weighed around 500lbs or less with say the Raptor 660 engine and keep it roughly $5000 to 5500 I think that they would sell quite a few. Since when the Phazer came out if my history serves me correctly Yamaha was selling the same number of sleds and the res combined. You would goto northern Wisconsin and 7 out of 10 sled would be yamaha. in particular the Phazer. Just my $0.02

BACK IN THE 70S & 80S IT WAS MORE OF A FAMILY SPORT!

BUT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MORE KIDS AREN'T GETTING IN SNOWMOBILING!?

YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING FOR THEM TO BUY & RIDE!

THIS PROFESSIONAL WON'T SELL ANY BIG NUMBERS EITHER BUT, THEY'RE GOING TO BUILD IT!

LOOK AT THE PRICE ON THAT & I BET YOU'LL SEE WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
