2009 Phazer RTX
Thought I would start a post to show the work I am doing on my sled. Here is how my Phazer looked at the end of last season.

I already have an Ulmer clutch kit, powder hound skis, and a flotation skid plate on the sled from previous years.

For this season I am planning on (so far):

- Getting my skid, A-arms and rear bumper powered coated. (actually already got them done)
- Installing a Roll over valve
- Getting my Fox Float shocks upgraded to Evols.

Picked up my parts from the today.

They look great in person!

Thanks, had to put this on hold for a bit. Waiting for parts to come in. Should start putting it back together Tuesday or Wenesday. Hopefully it will look good!

Thought I would update on this...

Not sure if anyone noticed I was missing a part from the rear suspension but I left one at home, in a box. :o|

So I had to bring the piece in and get it done. It was kind of an obvious part so It could no go un coated :o|

I got the part back today (Lucky he cut me a HUGE break on the price since its a 3 step colour)

I should have the skid assembled by the end of the week...

Should look nice! Me and Yamahas used the same shop to powdercoat our parts the same colour and the work was awesome. I got mine together but haven't taken any pics yet. The colour is so close to the Yamaha blue that I can't tell the difference.

Finaly got to start working on the sled again. The skid is almost in one piece and I got a couple more things in.

I had sent off my Floats to get upgraded to Evols. Just need to get them on the sled and add the Evol stickers on them.

Got my pivot riser from Lake Effect the other day as well.

Should start seeing updates more often after this week end's exams are done.

Wow nice!

I really am ashamed of mine. She is mechanically sound but definitly in need of some bling.

We have had a couple of decent snowfalls, it has really gotten me into great to get my phazer ready to go!

I have had the rear suspension together for a few days now but been busy trying to fix my fathers sled. Chain case was making some weird noises so I opened it up and took it apart. While taking it apart I stripped a bunch of bolts. I would have had my phazer together but time ran out while trying to fix his sled, had to cancel the upcoming trip I was scheduled to leave today.

Well here is the skid, powder coated, new bushings all around, new wheels/bearings. The skid is in the track now, just not bolted. I am not sure why but photo bucket is displaying the image on its side, even though it was uploaded the correct way and is displayed on photo bucket correctly as well?

I had to put the bumper on, I could not wait to see how the blue looked on the sled!

I have the front end assembled as well, just not installed.

All I have left to do is bolt in the skid, front end, exhaust/seat, put oil in it and body panels! Can't wait to take it for a ride!

Well another year so I did a bit of work.

Sent my shock to get rebuilt and nuts welded on where the grease nipples were to put on ones with check balls and I had broken one anyway. I should get them back soon.

I was cleaning the drive shaft bearing and I decided to change it.

It would not come off the shaft easily so I took the axle out so I could get a bearing puller on it.

I has happy to see the chain case looks to be in great shape, very simple and very well built...

I got a new track in... 121" Freeride.
