Ordered the yamaheater from Rockmiester last week and installed it. It was as easy as unplug a few conectors and plug in the kit to the harness and WOW! Warm hands......You the man Rock.
I think Yamie should pay you royalties and install ur kit on every Nytro from serial number one at no cost to the owner. Ok I will quit dreaming now. Thanks Rock for the warm hands.....ur product rules!

The kit includes new style grips, the elements and what looks like self adhesive cork all with connectors and superglue.

I intalled mine on friday and took a short ride and it was better then stock but did not get really HOT. Is this normal or do they get hotter the longer you ride. It only works when the handwarmer switch is on the off postion correct?

Just picked up a set of the new yamaha handwarmers also. Hope its at least an improvement. was worried going aftermarket with the electrical system. Didn't want to much of a draw.

I'm pretty sure it's not the hand warmers them self I think it's the power supply going to them .Ask Rock and he'll now for sure.

I guess I either have good gloves or naturally warm hands. I keep hearing about all the hand warmer issues but I have never experienced it. Not in my 04 Warrior, 06 Nytro, or my 09 Nytro. Maybe there are hotter warmers out there but I normally only need to run 2 - 3 bars of heat on any of the fore mentioned sleds.

I have rode in -25 with Klim gloves and dumbo ears with no problem.

Hmmmmmmmm--same here. My hands were actually cold. The bars get warm--but not as hot as I thought they would. I was wearing some thinner gloves than I should have been but then when I jumped on my RX with my handwarmer mod they seemed much warmer.skoalring11 said:I intalled mine on friday and took a short ride and it was better then stock but did not get really HOT.
