The regular Yamaheater works great. VERY hot for when its really cold, but the rest of the settings are still pretty much just stock. If you get the boost it'll make all of your settings warmer... or HOTTER I mean. So then you can actually adjust your warmers from slightly warm to extremely hot, which is very nice.
I recommend getting the Boost. Its really nice to have the ability to adjust the heat more than just the Yamaheater setting.
At least this is how it all effected my nytro.

For the cost difference/ease of operation, I recommend the the boost version 98% of the time.
And it's not because I only have boost versions in stock.......

Can I order boost after the fact? Boost wasn't invented when I bought mine.

I'd recommend getting the built in boost and the thumb boost as well. It's nice to actually have to turn down the grip warmers.

does the plug and play with the boost module come with the thumb boost or is that seperate?
What is the boosted voltage?
The boost can be added on later.
The Thumb Boost is a seperate module.

Yes, add-on boost is available. I think I had them listed at $44.95 plus Taxes/shipping. I'll need to order them so speak up if you'd like one and click on the 'Notify Me' button on this Add-On Booster page to be notified when I have stock.
The thumb booster will be 49.95 plus when I get them in a week or 10 days. This is a new product for me so I don't have the page ready yet.
The Thumb boost is a separate unit from ANY of the other Yamaheater products.

Id go plug and play kit for sure, no wore splicing and less chance for shorts, etc.
Also the thumb boost Is really nice.
