Really?
Do I have to do Canookian translations???
lol No Mom, please! I don't wanna!!! lmao
Anyone here a good translator?
Just kiddin Dude.
The names have kind of evolved over time.
Really,
What do you want us to call the P&P YamaHeater?
And the P&P YamaHeater with Boost?
And the Thumbboost?
Am always open to suggestions.
Rock
haha I'm telling you I was so confused until I read every page of your site yesterday, I had no idea what "boost" was and assumed it went with "thumb Boost"
YamaHeater Plug & Play (regular)
YamaHeater Plug & Play plus, extreme, gen 2, ver 2, pretty much anything without the word boost (with "boost")
YamaHeater thumb boost, thumb heater,
I've now learnt what everything means so it's easier to understand now, but I swear I had no idea what I was ordering until it arrived at my door. Just new cold hands = yamaheaters
Hahhahaaa!
Hope you like what you received! lol
I look at the orders pretty close, just to make sure what was ordered is correct & what I send is correct.
Like to say it works 100% of the time, but can say it works most of the time.
I think your concern is very valid and have been working on making things clearer.
Have actually tried to get 5 web people to work on my website.
Want to make it much clearer & easier to use etc.
Beginning to think they are a bunch of prima-donas...
Not ONE has followed through & actually done anything on it.
That is a 100% failure rate.
Pretty dismal showing for their craft.
What is really wild is most of them approached me!
Then they fail to follow through.
I should eventually find someone that WILL ACTUALLY FOLLOW THROUGH. Maybe, possibly... lol
They can't all be this way...
Rock
It looks good and I'm sure it will function even better! just gotta get it installed which in this cold weather and working outside might be a while :/
I'll be honest, if someone approached you chances are they won't be getting around to it any time soon, you will have to actually hire someone to get it done. Maybe someone on this site is a web guru and would be able to help you out.

I was up in northern MN a few weeks ago riding at night when the air temperature (not the wind chill factor) dropped to minus 35 degrees Fahrenheit. I am not sure what the wind chill factor would have been when riding at 60 mph. Probably off of the chart!
I had my Yamaheater in boost mode plus I have hand guards to block the wind and Klim gloves. My hands did not get cold!
The two guys I was riding with had hand guards on their new Ski Doo's and they had Klim gloves as well. They both froze their hands so bad that we had to take turns switching sleds so they each could ride my Apex for a while to warm up their hands!
Normally I could never ride in boost mode but it sure came in handy that night. In "normal" temperatures if I leave my Yamaheater in boost mode I will literally melt my gloves. Seriously, they start sticking to the grips and smoke will come off of them!
I highly recommend the Yamaheater to anyone with an older Apex. Great product and great customer service from our fellow TY member Rock. You rock Rock!

On my way home from my last trip I thought to myself "You know what? It is such a blessing that Rock purchased a Yamaha with insufficient hand warmers and then decided to something about it". Yep. I don't even know how I would have survived my last trip without my yamaheaters.

I put them on this year and man what a difference. I have been riding my sled for so long with cold hands it just seemed so unusual to have very HOT hands. It's a nice thing to get used to...

i just wanted to add my experience with my yamaheaters and rock him self..first let me start by saying
wow..really makes you realize what you were missing once you ride with some warm hands.these things are awesome.one of the best bang for the buck on my apex.
& rocks customer service is by far above and beyond.his knowledge and service is worth the price alone..i send him one email & he quickly returned it with a phone number.he called me right up & i missed the call..i called him right back & he said he was actually just texting me.thats top notch right there i dont care what anyone says..
at the time i wasnt next to my sled so i had to call him back in a few days, well when i called him he was actually in the u.p and he answered with weak phone service and called me right up within 20 mins when he got better cell service....
oh yeah did i mention i bought the unit used from a fellow member & he gained absolutly nothing out of this?i owe you one dude
