ZX2 - Installing Rear Axle Bolt?

I removed my rear axle bolt on the right side to loctite it and can not for the life of me get it back in. I have removed all four pins on the revolver, lifted the front, lifted the rear, put boards under the front of the track and the rear. Still no go. Any ideas?

drop the two rear suspension mount bolts and drop the skid down a bit. This will loosen the track allot to make it easier. While you do that you can pull any bolts out with ease.

I was really hoping dropping the rear skid was not necessary. It is a pain to drop the rear of the skid everytime I make track adjustments just so I can re-loctite everything! Oh well...

I used a ratchet strap around the rear wheels to pull the axle back. With the sled on the trailer I hooked the strap to 2 anchor hooks and tightened it up.
You have to loosen the adjusting bolts, and count turns. Put the bolt in, using a strap to pull the axle back, then re-tighten the track the amount of turns you counted.
Check for alighnment, then tighten the axle bolts.

I have about 600 miles on the skid, and I don't have any loctite on the rear axle bolts. They have not come loose on me. This way if I need to asdjust the track, I can.

I agree with SnoWarrior. There is no need to loktite the rear axle bolts. The shaft is not turning or trying to loosen the bolts in any way. If you loktite them in it only makes it more difficult when adjusting track tension. If you insist, use 242 blue. (Service removable.)

I found a reason!!!

This bolt had red loctite, but the seal was broke due to changing track tension a couple times. Maybe I did not torque it enough as I did not use my torque wrench last time out.
