Just to be sure is it ski doo profile 8 sliders that work with this skid.I only have a 136". I am heading to the city tomorrow and want to pick some up. I am in the middle of nowhere, closest city is 4 hours away so I want to pick some up.

Ok, got the skid out and took some measurements. I took measurement of the distance that the outside track lug is from the edge of the slider. There was a 5mm difference and the skid is sitting 5 mm to the right. I took measurement with the skid on the floor and with it in the air. Measurements were the same. The tunnel mount holes are exactly the same on each side so thats not the problem. But what I did find as shown in the picture below. I took measurements of both sides as shown in the picture below and there is a 5mm difererence from the left side as compaired to the right side. The left side is 79mm and the right is 74mm. When I say left and right, this is as if the the skid was instaled in the sled and I was sitting on the sled. The left side would be 5mm to the right according to the measurements with the skid out. This is eactly what the problem is when the skid instaled. The skid is pushed to the right. So from what I see, the only way to fix this is to take some off of the left spacer and add the same amount to the right side. I measured the rear mounts in the same manner and there was a 2mm diference in the same direction. Is there any other options that would work. Oh, and by the way, I checked, and yes the table is flat. I have some 1.25" aluminum round stock so I will make some new adapters on my laithe with the measurements that I need and see what happens. This way I am not modifying the original ones.

Are the spacers the same length? Should be impossible to have it off by so much? Look inside the spacers to some are milled at different depths.

Spacers are exactly the same in every measurement. The spacers are 50mm long. I have a 45mm one already made and will make a 55mm one. The skid should be instaled with in the hour.

Wow you have really had a heck of time with this! This came from a used polaris or something right? Did you purchase the specific mount kit from ADB or make it up based on the universal instructions?
I hope it works, just seems very odd. Did you measure the front and rear arms they are the same part number see if the arm is tweaked or something.

Yes I have. It's getting to the point where I am thinking of putting the pro action back it and sell the zx2 if things don't get figured out soon. Yes the mounting kit is the rx1 specific kit. Super easy to instal. The skid is in and I made a bo bo....
Now the skid is all the way to the left side.... I should have split the 5mm difference to 2.5mm each side aarrggg.... The good news is that it moved 5mm to the left so if I split the difference it should be good. Theoreticly.

OK.... after several spacer shims have been made, I finall got it. It is .5 of a mm difference between left and right sides, front and back. This was set with the track off the ground. I ran the track several times and the measurements hase stayed the same. I guess all I have to do now is drive it like I stole it. If this doesn't work I have no idea what to do except put the pro action back in because this is getting to frustrating.

So what exactly did you do to fix your issue?

There was a difference of 5mm between the left and right sides all I did was take off 2.5mm +_ from the right side and added 2.5mm+_ to the left side and it put the skid rails right in the middle, so far, with the skid off the ground. I will take it for a spin tomorrow and see if it stays there.

Its been a long day but let me see if i get this. The 2.5mm are from the spacers for mounting.(the sleeves that slide over the front shaft where the mounting bolts go into?) Or??... also how did you add to this?

Yes it has been a long day. And yes the 2.5mm are from the spacers. I believe AD Boivin calls them adapters. the skid was 5mm to far to the right. So I split the 5mm and added 2.5mm to the right adapter to move it the skid to the left and took 2.5mm off of the left adapter to keep the same overall width of the mount points to fit the tunnel. At first I added the 5mm to the right and subtracted 5mm from the left but that moved the skid to far to the left. It was the same distance to far to the left as it was to the right before I started. So thats when I knew I screwed up and should have split the 5mm used the 2.5mm and that put it where it needed to be. I hope this makes sence.

Did the test run today and I am happy with the results, so far. The things are staying where they are suposed to be. The vibration that I had under the foot wells is also gone. The track clips rubbing on the edge of the sliders must have been the problem. I also have the track a bit tighter now and I tightened up my limit strap, it was completly slack. I will keep an eye on the sliders because I am not sure how tight to run the track. There is a slight sag in the middle 3/4"to 1" with the skid off the ground. Not sure if it is a combination of all three adjustments but I feel the main issue was the adapters.Only time and miles on the sled will tell the true tale. As of right now I am happy once again. The emotional highs and low with this skid is getting too much to take. I hope this is the last issue for awhile, at least for this year anyway.

Haven't had much ride time lately, but what I have had, the skid looks good so far. I will report back when I have some more miles.
