Can anyone tell me if the Foam Air Filter Element requires oiling after cleaning / before reinstalling?? Or does it go in dry??

forget the oilolite... get bronze. If you doing the bulkhead go 2 steps further. Do the A-Arms and spend 10 buck on some ss grease fittings and a tap. Drill holes near each of these fittings so you can service them with grease. Not difficult at all.

As I posted I already got all 3 of these billet aluminum bushings for the steering rod... they are high quality and work really well but need to be drilled out for a grease fitting. They eliminate most of your problem... My problem goes deeper. More bushings down in the pan that connect...

Thanks for the feedback. I will comprise a parts list tomorrow after I finish tearing my sled apart. My understanding is that a ball joint should have "NO Play" in is whatsoever..... mine all have a slight chatter, so I will definately be changing these too, in addition to all the bushings...

Well I finally got to tear apart the front end of my Apex. I found excessive wear on just about all the bushings in the whole front end. I am definately suprised to see all these parts with so much wear with just 3200 miles. Makes be wonder about the wear and tear in the rear skid. I think...

I would be very carefull with the pressure washer. I USED to pressure wash everything..... tired of replacing bearings because I blew water into the oil seals! I will not make this mistake again. Oil seals, orings, and gaskets are somewhat delicate..... good luck
