My buddy is looking at an 06 apex gt with less than 100 miles. The guy is asking 8k for it. Pretend I didn't tell you what the he was asking and what do you think a fair price for it is. All stock less than 100 miles. I'm keeping in mind some of the updates that we ned to do to it,beef up kit, hand warmers, drive axle. Just give me your opinion of what you think a fair price is.

Thanks anyways the under 100 miles got a nice ring to it, and I love working on the apexs' so I'm looking forward to doing the updates if he gets it.

Unridden sleds can have just as many problems as a high milage sled. Don't think that its new because it says 100 miles. the speedo stores the milage. replace it with a new one and you have a 100 mile sled. Look at all the wear places. clutches, brakes, hyfax floor boards, boggy's and so on. Mice can cause a lot of damage and they like the engine bay wiring.and plastic. I would rather have a well kept sled then a neglected one. I agree $6500 max.

US pricing that sled should go for no more than $5500 max !
Thought the apex/and attacks would hold their value a little better up here but the market is satuarated with used machines right now (high gas prices and bad economy)
Also everyone seems to be jumping on the band wagon going towards BRP products these days.
Friend just sold his 06 attack for $4000 . i have mine at $5900 canadian still $500 to $1000 less than all other local machines on the market in my region and havent gotten one call ! Although its late in the season.

Not running something is not good for it.

It has obviously sat a lot the last 6 years likely with zero maintenance, original oil, no greasing, possibly stored in high humidity causing rusty internal parts.

I would say worth less than a good used well maintained not abused one.

Maybe $5,000, maybe less. I wouldn't buy it unless it had been kept in a controlled environment or run up at least a 1/2 dozen times a year.

Look for wear on the rear shock from rubbing on track(bright led light)should be a light scuffing at 100mi or nothing at all..no flat spots.theres always someone that will cheat>change guages,a good detail.i would pay $6500 in that 100mi condition-its an apex! $8000 is steep stock..i have the same machine. i love the look with the black a-arms and tunnel.

If it is your buddy's sled you must know what the story here is? Does it truly have less than 100 miles or was that a typo in your thread? It should be absolutely showroom condition. Why would it sit for basically 5 years? Anyway, if it is true, you would pay bluebook around 6K. Be interested in seeing some pics of a 5-6 year old sled with 100 miles on it. Heck we put that on in an afternoon...... Good luck on your decision!
