    I am helping a friend who grooms for his ski club with overheating problems on his 2006 VK and have ordered the secondary additional radiator kit to help solve the problem. Yamaha has supplied the Kit ,,,,now almost $1300 but for that price you do not get any install or layout instructions...

    Apex GT front Heat Exchanger removal -any tips?

    Had a rock or some other inconciderate object go through the front heat exchanger last night and its definately toast. Damage too extensive for welding unfortunately. Anyone have any advice on removal and replacement before I start the teardown?

    Replacing Front Heat exchanger Just got towed back from way up North last night. Put a rock through the front heat exchanger and lost all coolant instantly! So I have to replace the whole front exchanger. Whats involed? track has to come out no doubt? Any info appreciated. Mark

    Just one thing you need to watch is the distance from the underside of the chassis to the top of the new support bracing. It needs to be enough so the Y pipes are in correct alignment but not too high that the support bolt sticks up above the top of the chassis. I should have used a domed Allen...
