I was leaking chaincase oil at the end of last season, so I figured I'd take a look... turns out it was leaking at the jackshaft on the chaincase side.. bad seal i guess. Anyway, while draining, the oil was milky, I took off the drive bearing and it was shot, and continued pulling everything...

I was under the impression that items such as track and idler wheels are considered consumable parts and are not covered under warranty unless the problem was due to manufacture defect, otherwise its just wear and tear... Can someone verify this?

$32.87 at cyclepartswarehouse.com . They are the cheapest by far I found for OEM parts. The part number you are looking for is 8GC-77251-00-00 I bought all my idler wheels from them. Half price compared to the local dealer.

I bought my sled non-current but still 0 km's. When I bought it, it had the link kit, the rad fan, the side panels and the cold start kit already done. I put 600km on it and brought it in for its first service at the begining of the next season, they told me on phone (before bringing it in)...
