I did all the work myself. This is the track the Apex should have came with from the factory. Makes it a whole new animal. Sled is now up in the classifieds.
The stock helix on the Apex tends to bottom out and does not allow full shift out. Having it machined down .100 on the back side should allow full shift out.
I love my C&A Extremes as well. Had to play around with the suspension though. The sled was steering a little heavy on the trail. Also a great ski for powder riding.
ApexMuscle1000 I went with the Yamaha Mtn Cable to solve the cable issue.
Apltx08 I don't mind how they fit could be better but they do the trick and look good. Ya I think Rox redesigned the mounts.
Nothing crazy done to the sled. Set of C&A Pro Extreme Skis. 3.5" riser from Rox. Also have a set of the billet hand guard mounts from Rox with a set of Powermadd handguards. Xenon Fusion bulbs for the headlights. Going to be putting 144 studs down the middle and some clutch work this winter...
I just installed a Rox 3.5" riser on my Apex along with the stock riser. I switched out my stock throttle cable for the mountain one. When I first started the sled code 84 poped up. Just adjusted the cable free play and it went away. With the stock riser and the Rox it's about at the limit with...
I'm having a T.O.R.S issue with my Apex. I changed my throttle cable from stock to the mountain and when I went to start the sled code 84 poped up. :o| I have a good feeling I just have to adjust the cable but do I have to take it to the dealer to get the code cleared or will it just go away...
