Will it hurt anything in a 07 Apex RTX injection system to run some racing fuel in it? On the clutching is there any gain to be had by shimming the helix out with 5/16 lock washers or having it machined?

your engine makes max hp on regular fuel. under perfect top speed conditions a cut helix will allow full shift out. washers under helix will also work.

The stock helix on the Apex tends to bottom out and does not allow full shift out. Having it machined down .100 on the back side should allow full shift out.
