Skidoo 10 if you look at your chart carefully you will realize that the Mach Z only beat the RX-1 by 5 100's of a second in a quarter mile. What do you suppose the results might look like this year if the Apex indeed gains 5 1/2 lengths and 5 mile an hour in a quarter mile.

I think you are right Mighty about the Mach Z being faster, but I expect that in a quarter mile the Apex may be to quick for it. Half mile the Mach Z for sure.

Four of the guys I ride with were on Ski-doo last year and another on a Polaris. All of them have ordered Yamaha's for 06. I also ordered an Apex er, but have been riding an 03 RX-1 er. 4 Apex er's, 1 Attak, 1 Vector er. Quite a change for next year.

Have any of you had a problem with the belt wearing a very noticable wave in the primary clutch sheaths, especially the outside one? I am having my sheaths replace but wonder what would have caused this excessive wear and what can i do to prevent it in the future? It is a 2003 with 5500 miles...

Yamanator thanks for the on the Rhino. I have a Rhino and was wondering how to improve the speed. It sure is a great ride but my biggest problem is that my wife uses around the yard a lot which may restrict my use of it.

Last trip to the U.P. rode 600 miles. My low was 16.6 m.p.g. my high was 18.7 m.p.g.. I have almost 5000 miles on my sled and have heavy hitters. Seems to keep improving.
