I am almost ready to get my old RX-1ton back together, since my A-arm bolts were lost and I had to pick up replacements. Anyways, this year should be fun, working on the 7th year now with the old girl. I believe that I am the only RX left in town, all the others are Apexes, Phazers, Ventures...

That would be good to hear...Hey YK, check on the gas mileage if you are going with a tankful of 91 octane compared with the 87...See if there is any difference due to timing. RX-E PS. I have used Octane booster for my RX-1 on and off...not sure of ours, but I think it is 87 as well in Nunavut

Yeah, but it still sucks since it is BRP...lol...We don't get the quirky models up here since they are more fragile and prone to breakdowns...The wet weight would still be over 560lbs... RX-E

473 lbs? Perhaps the dry weight is 473lbs. Check out Maximum sled weight report...It does not list the 800R, but you stated that it was 473 lb, while the Blizzard is 476lbs dry. They did it with wet weights...The Blizzard 800 is 576.5 lbs wet...Gas and oil is most of the additional weight...

I second that...Anything that tends to breakdown up here is left at the stores...Lots of old doos that have engine problems, so no one bought those models. We are starting to get more 4S models up here even though they are heavier, but engine reliability is awesome...Still no issues with my old...

D'oh...For us, the only time that the machines are towed is kinda like in my picture, on a Qamutik (eskimo sled). I posted one a year or more ago with a POS on the sled. Nice pics folks. RX-E
