what about clutching with the nos ? i am ready to purchase but want to know any of the drawbacks. i already have heavy hitters & i know they are tuneable but how would you tune them for both on & off the bottle ?.
I don't know if they would warrenty it but my 2003 boots were full of soot also, i cleaned them & i swear it ran better. I also have the warrenty & will talk to my dealer about it . keep us posted how you make out.
does anyone know if the 13 pound weight savings they are claiming is for an 03 or an 05 rx1. & what part of the 05 is made of titanium the header or just the mufler or both?
call matt @ the speedshop & get the heavyhitters he has the BEST customer service. but should you decide to go with heel clickers i'll sell you mine all set up for the rx1, they were on my sled for about 500 miles
thanks LB, i hope your right. i put extraverts & different track on my 03 before even rode it , i got a great deal from camoplast on a trade in an was wondering if i should do it again before i put miles on the 05 track. thanks for the reply as i trust your judgement.
we bought our sleds in n.y. & broke down in canada the dealer made us pay for the repair but worked with us & yamaha who sent us a check within 1 month
