I have read about the sag problem with an xtx and spring spacer fixes but just wondering if anyone ran them on the RTX? Sorry to say but my wish list is complete and just looking for more mods!
BRIAN ;)!
I do not disagree about rotating weight but when you look at like say haydays grass drags why don't they race and win with short tracks? It seemed to me the fast sleds were all long tracks. All the extra horsepower is worthless until you get it to hook up. I would like to trade you sleds...
My 2 cents is all of us rtx riders are searching for more traction. I ride trails and ditches. I had 192 studs in and still need more traction and I think this nytro motor needs 144 inch track to preform at its best not to mention an xtx has more top end due to the better skid!
Another thought maybe? I have been told by the sales person that you have to be careful not to let the unit get to cold because the crystal or some kind of liquid that is in the screen will freeze and crack the screen? True or not I am not for sure someone might chime in?
First flipone side pilot ski bushings around so they will fit. Then I used ski doo ZX ski rubbers and carved them with a razor blade to fit yamaha spindle due to diffrent shape. To have abosolutly no darting and lighten up the heavy steering I use begstroms skegs. I had him make me some 3/8 ski...

I see Yamaha has two diffrent lenghs snow flaps one is 16 inches and the other is like 12.5 inches. Just wondering if anybody tried the shorter snow flap? I was thinking it might help with the ice up problem? I all ready know who ever...
Ok Fran I hear you!! But my last thing I did not weld nuts on your grizz sub frame fix so how do i attach the big plate? I need to know where to get that hardware or does it all come with the plate? ;)!
So my next question is I want to still run my aftermarket full length skid plate on top of the Roest plate could I do this with his full length plate or have to be the short skid plate? Any ideas be great
I looked at mountain tech I think it was called where do I find the good allumin. short plate he just came out with I can not find it again?
