update i have the charge tube and turbo mounted in the sled, but have a new issue. can someone tell me where exactly the oiol lines come to and from i have them ran on top the tunnel and such, but the return i'm kinda at a loss and the line to the pump...
Hi, my brother just purchased a used bender kit for an rx1. I'm going to help him install it today, but he doesn't have the template for the charge tube hole where it goes through the tunnel by the the chain case. I'm wondering if anyone might have one or a simple measurement from the tunnel...
unless yamaha changed them i don't think the bearings are removable\replaceable. for this reason i ended up goiing to a cat wheel which has replaceable bearings, but you will have to cut some of the back off the standoff as the bearings are a little wider. the wheels i used where a little taller...

i run polaris wheels, but the standoffs need to be machined back a couple of thousandths. replacabvle bearings and the seals have more room to be removed
on my 05 rx i was running 10" woodies on stocks ski's(had 13mm bar) ran loose front spring setting, stock limiter strap location, loose transfer rod with 168 studs. sled had some steer effort (after 200 mile day), but could turn on rails
all this talk about priming the lines, i think it's just as easy to remove the airbox cover in the nose and spray a little ether in the throat of a carb or 2. if you do in fact have spark she'll start. Had to do this actually a couple of weeks ago which was the first start in almost 2 years on...
we've got an 05 and ended up putting on gauntlets on the rears. that made all the difference in the world, he now has his own sled but at the end he was only using them on low
thanks ndc821, we did end up running from grayling through lewiston and back, the trails weren't all that bad considering the early season with no base set up and all ;)!
