if you only transport the venture rs and no other sleds and take off the lugguge rack +backrest it'll fit in a 10' 2place enclosed. been there done that. it fits nice in a 12'

i used the same mount as Tod, but instead of mounting it to the handle bar i mounted the cradle to the dash right next to the speedo (where Tod has the temp guage).

mine is mounted to my steering post mount above the valve cover,bottle is horizontal with the valve pointed straight forward. on acceleration the liquid will flow to the rear of the bottle where my pick up tube is located. i wish i had pics, but i described as best i can

the valve on top of the bottle (on most bottles) will have a tube that travels down to the bottom and either toward the front or back of the bottle to pick up the nos.

depends on the dip location. wish i had a pic to illustrate. the main thing is that the pick up tube in the bottle facesrearward and slightly down so when you're accelerating the liquid nos is being picked up and not the vapors. from what i hear some bottles don't have a dip tube,so in that...

i've rode an older 600 skidoo 2up(early 90), an actic cat 660 touring, and the wifes venture rs. the ski doo was of course the worst, poor power for 2 up riding and i wasn't impressed with the ride, but this was also an older machine and i'm sure the newer are much better. as far as the cat goes...

I actually put on about 50 miles before i clutched mine only because after riding it i decided it clearly wasn't clutched how i'd like. I highly doubt it matters if you clutch it right out the box, but i wanted to feel it before i started changing things.

these motors in the rx1 come from the factory retarded. i can tell you i put more than 30lbs through my sled with no problems and over 5000 miles, BUT I wouldn't recommend advancing timing. Even on a big/ small block car engine you can USUALLY get away with 100 shot before you have to start...

o.k. i was talking with a buddy yesterday and found out you can change to a taller primary and secondary clutch on arctic cat. i'm wondering if this is possible to do on a rx1. i do realize this would help both bottom and top end. if anyone knows of something let it fly :drink:

i never had a viper, but i have a srx still ;)! . I never had a good reason to sell it so it still resides in the barn. funny thing is i pulled it out last weekend after getting the other machines ready to go and got a little wood at the sound of those tripples.

i'm with wfo, i have a rs venture that the wife rides (with my son) and it took a little finaggling to get the steering right for what the 144 tends to push until you get it moving. that's the smoothest riding machine i've ever rode(and she has) and still has more than enough power unlike some...

that's about right if it's a part thats stocked in the wisconsin wharehouse, if it's in cali, well that's another thing. i usually try to order my stuff on monday mornings and i usually have them by thursday.
