Ski doo modular Works very well. Less money than Bvs2. I put an electric shield on it but have never had to plug it in.

I tried the choko's on an RTX at the big east show in Syracuse. They seem to fit very good.

In my opinion, sledbrite does NOT work. I have never been more disappointed with a product.

Has anyone put yellow skis (C&A or Ski Doo) on their 07 RTX? Please post a picture. I want to see how good the color match is. Also, would the yellow skis be too much yellow on the RTX.

Permatex makes a patch kit that comes with different colors of paste to mix into the patch. I have bought this at NAPA to fix 2 different sled seats. Works very well. It even has different texture pads that you put onto the patch and heat with an iron to match the grain of the vynle (sp)

Just for an FYI, New John Deere tractors with Kawaski engines you do not screw the dip stick in to check engine oil level. HA !!

2.5 mm difference in wheel radius is only .098" about 3/32. The amount that a track ballons and flexes should easily compensate for that. Putting larger wheels on the back axle will get the track away from the mono shock as well

The ra and the shock must be at the full hard position. Follow mrsleds reply. There are clicks below the full soft positon that will not change the shocks effect. You don't want to be in that area.

I am very dissapointed with the heel clickers. Smoked belts and engagement was too high. changed the heel weight and lost top end as well.

I just pulled the skid out of my 05 with 4600mi. The rear center wheel bearing race was stuck to the shaft. I will be replaceing every thing this summer. I know that Skidoo sc10-3 boggies are just 3/16 larger in diameter. They also have replaceable 6205 bearings. I used to ride a 02 mxz...

You need to remove the seal with a small screw driver or dental pick to get the old grease out and put the new grease in. There are problems with too much grease in a bearing. Also it doesn't do any good to leave the old contaminates in the bearings

I belive they all use a 39 tooth bottom. The attack for 06 and 07 is a 23t The Apex for 06 is 24t The Apex RTX is 22t

I rode for a week with an 05 McZ. His mpg was very close to mine on my 05RX1. We would run pretty hard at times. When we rode very hard 80+ he would do better that me. We rode 1550mi that week. Oh did I forget to mention he used 11 liters of oil?!!

RedRX1 3 battries in 1500 mi. There has got to be a story in that. Have you replaced them we oem's or some thing different.

I have just finished my 2nd season with my 05 rx1. How often have you found it necessary to replace the battery. I used to ride motorcycles and had to change about every 2nd year. I actually had to tow my bike about 2 miles once because the battery was so bad.

With running the full synthetic oil do you have any problems with the starter slipping? As I understand it is like a wet clutch system inside the motor.
