So you think the RTX skid with extensions is better then the 09 MTX skid for offtrail riding?
Did not know it was that bad.
The reason im not extending my 08 rtx is im getting a really good deal on the XTX or MTX, the track and extension for my RTX would cost me almost as much as one of...
Im in a similar situation myself, im trading my RTX for a longer sled.
I have a 09 xtx and a 09 mtx to choose between. (same price)
I have decided to go with the MTX because i would have to replace drivers and track (2"challenger) on the xtx to get it to perform as i want offtrail.
To be...
Yes they fit, when you cut out the tunnelprotectors, then you can even squeeze a 2" track in there. But with the screws in the paddle there will be a freeplay of only a few millimeters to the unprotected cooler.

I have these on my 08 RTX, looks great, and you can change the bearings in them.
Same wheels as the 2011 sleds.
Puppe, Im really interested in seeing how this turned out.
I have been looking for something like this for quite some time now.

I have the backcountry on my RTX, best track i have ever had. I would never go back to a shorter lug track again.
In Scandinavia all 2011 nytros and Apexs are delivered with backcountry 1.75" tracks.
Allen, i just browsed your site looking for the 144" extension kit for FX Nytro, and i could not find it.
Are they sold out, or have you stopped selling them?
About the steering, get a set of powder pro or Yamaha MTX skis. This will give you great floatation in powder and good bite in the corners.
Motor pull. call Ulmer racing and order a clutchkit, save your money for the turbo.
