The red outline is the piece you would discard, opening the 2 blue circles which are intake ports, free venting y not! And save some weight off of these things!
Flip your hood over and take the 7 t25 torx screws out it’s obvious once you get your hood flipped over to see it and it really opens up those intake ports as vents. I can get pics if anyone needs
TD Max pump Bens customer service at the track is hands down the best. Don’t know many tuners that will devote there Friday night to being on the phone fine tuning a sled!
I agree with Dan the higher engagement TP black is awesome for drag racing but I will be running a yamaha white white white this winter trail riding 45/119kg rates with TP heavy hitters
If you want the engagement really high TP has a black spring I run on asphalt that is very high engaging it runs about 4600rpm depending on weight setup
