Agree the timken won't leave my clutches anytime soon. It may not grip quite as good as the carlisle xs but its stronger and doesn't squeal at idle like the old one did. Hence the round cogs now.

My qs3r kashima center shock is 1/2" shaft and no rebound thats all i was saying. 2018 rtx LE 50th. Maybe the center is not technically an "R" even though its a qs3 kashima piggyback.

Most customers who think they know what they want usually get stuff back from ross way too stiff unfortunately.

I concur on the looser chain as my top gear is like new after over 5000kms on 290 but also not convinced this is the only reason the gears are lasting.

Could it be the ones that are failing have an improperly aligned jackshaft/gears/axle? Remember back in the day when we "blueprinted" our chassis? Out came the squares with tracks off to improve efficiency in the driveline.

One would think yamaha can now learn from whats currently out there and do it their way. Yes they've never had a true rider forward jap built chassis but if they don't they may wind up packing it in.

So when the sight glass's crap out do they fall inside or fall outside the case? Was thinking of jb welding it in place or epoxy?

Hurricane and boost engineering have improved the drive by wire feel but i believe theres still more to improve if its even possible with the long runner.

I also learned you need to flip the phone to landscape (side) to view that default feature as well as current tune. At least with my android phone.
