Site vendor @ Rocztoyz.com Great guy, long time member here and will get you exactly what you need. Been using a BUNCH of his products ever since he started his business.
Simple fix for those riding an Attak or LTX. Change to a Hartman tunnel extension. Maim followed me for a whole weekend while I rode my Attak with a Hartman extension on it. Stock extension is like a dozer blade. As soon as the rear of the sled sinks, it digs right in. Hartman extension goes UP...
1" wide 2 sided Velcro strip about 8" long. Took all my parking brakes off. Loop around handlebar once then underneath and back over the brake lever to the handle bar. I roll it up right next to the grip on the handlebar when not in use.
I apologize for not updating the result of my 509 experience. Walked in to the Milwaukee Snow Show, went straight to the 509 booth. Set my helmet on the table and the first person to walk up asked if I needed an update kit. Answered that I would like one. Pulled my helmet apart, installed a new...
On my 06 I mounted the ballast's for my HID lights on that bracket.Made it a pain when removing that bracket. On my 11, I mounted the ballasts differently and take that whole bracket. Just make sure you properly retuck the rubber curtain between the headlight and the air box. Keeps snow out of...
Take the whole assembly, bracket and all. 4 10 mm headed bolts secure the metal, headlight bracket. Deep well 1/4" drive socket and extension is what I use. Previous owner may have secured the pod and then installed bracket and pod.
Stock clutching or an aftermarket setup? This is likely your issue. Most aftermarket kits are setup for aggressive corner to corner acceleration or for more top speed. Stock clutching with a BOP soft start spring will take care of most of your issues. The other issue is engine braking. Smooth on...
Slydog Powderhound fits that criteria. I have the 7" version and have used them for thousands of miles. Bergstrom makes a Triplepoint specific to Slydogs based off my skis. 8" Triplepoint with a 3/8" ski saver and shimmed for zero darting and easy steering.
Yup, Yamaheater for the hand warmers, more spring preload in your center (front) skid shock to lighten steering. Check your limiter strap as well . Mines JUST. Slack with me on the sled. Skis.... You'll get a bunch of opinions, and that's what they are. My sled came with Tuners. One ride and I...
Not funny, but this is typically the first thing to check. In my time here I have NO idea how many threads start just like yours .... and it's the kill switch. Glad you found it though!
Manhattan Mike, no Ishpeming trip. I'll be in Ontario, with Crewchief and company for a week long trip. Excited about heading back to Ontario and seeing a different area of that province.
Sorry TrueBlue, couldn't help, myself. The owner of an M20 Airwave, and good friend of Redbeard, I have provisions to repair leaking or broken air lines, but not an air spring. He carries a spare and I'll soon have one as well. Perhaps you could fab a link like that suggested by Sumpbuster.
