So I put about 170 miles on my mountain skis they work great no darting and a lot more float! It does lift the inside ski in corners but I can live with that it turns great ! Was a great upgrade! Thanks again guys!

I cannot believe I have not dug out my Apex Mountain skis and mounted them. Of all the years, this is it in MN. We put on 450 miles this weekend, and we had tons of powder runs.
In my mind, I was doing wrong foot forward Chris Burandt power wheelies and turns. But in reality, I was plowing powder with the trail tank. But it was amazing, and would have been helped with the mountain skis. That's it, I'm digging them out tonight and testing.
Thanks for the inspiration!!
BTW, the trail tank towed out more than one sled from deep spaces. And I did break trail for many more. LOVE THIS SLED!!

snow is epic atm. i fell off of an old trail under 2' of powder with the 2011 while climbing a hill and sunk the old girl as i could not see well enough to get back to the trail on sat on a resue mission to get my brother and sister out of the slush at camp. the 16 was burried on my lawn in a 2' trench. pulled it out with the truck.

I will say it doesn’t like to go on concrete at gas stations, maybe pull limiter strap up one I think? Any other suggestions?

Simple fix for those riding an Attak or LTX. Change to a Hartman tunnel extension. Maim followed me for a whole weekend while I rode my Attak with a Hartman extension on it. Stock extension is like a dozer blade. As soon as the rear of the sled sinks, it digs right in. Hartman extension goes UP instead of straight out. 136x1.25 Predator track too lol.

Are the skis getting stuck on the concrete and track spinning?I will say it doesn’t like to go on concrete at gas stations, maybe pull limiter strap up one I think? Any other suggestions?
If that’s the case pulling up the front limiter will add weight to the front which would make it worse.

Anyone extended their flap on the XTX? I'm finding that since the tunnel is extended, they still used the same Apex flap. It pretty much sticks straight out.
Guys behind me complain of the ice chunks falling off my tunnel and rear exchanger. I almost thought about riveting an extension onto it. I have a spare Viper flap, but it's totally different and not usable.
