Primary clutch and belt in action videos...a must see

Nice videos. A lot safer than watching it on a stand or track dyno. Not that any of us have ever done that o_O

    PA U.P. Ride

In the woods northwest of Newberry is also ridable, but not great. The problem is that if you ride from town to town there is a lot of bad riding near the towns.

    PA U.P. Ride

West of Big Bay (Michigan) and up the Keweenaw (where Houghton is) is okay. Wawa Ontario is better.

Uh Oh - got 2 issues (at least)

My son thought it was funny watching me ride with a seat that swung way out to the side in every corner. He said "Just use your legs to hold it straight". I said "Not with 50 year old legs I don't" LOL

Uh Oh - got 2 issues (at least)

Off Topic, but I went 8 years with my BOSS (original flattop) mounted with the 2 snaps and 2 inch velcro. Last year the velcro started to come loose so I replaced it with the same 2 inch industrial velcro. It has come off twice now in less than 500 miles. The adhesive comes off the velcro...

The right side rail to front-arm bolt is almost out too, did you see that? So much for clean bolts, LockTite and proper torque approach.

It didn't blow the front shock. Is it the Star kit that saved it, or just lucky?

XTX skid in an old SX Viper . . . Glad I caught these issues before riding anymore . . .

Munisind MI Trails...the last 2 TY Rides.

Groomer out of Seney regularly counts over 1000 sleds in one trip on the weekends. There are a lot of variables in play and not to hammer on anyone, but the situation in Munising is not good. They need to forget what they think they know and listen to others from other successful areas. While...

Munisind MI Trails...the last 2 TY Rides.

For Munising rides, we spend most of our time off-trail. Of course we prefer off-trail anyway, but I really feel for folks that prefer sit-down trail riding. I have wrecked sleds and suspensions on the wonderful #8.

    Is this safe to use

I was wondering about them slamming shut like they can do. My Attak does that especially off-trail. My SX Viper has a roller so it doesn't do it either.

    Is this safe to use

I would likely replace it as soon as feasible. Luckily you can get used secondary clutches pretty cheap on here. It would likely stay together for a while, but it could go at any time. Curious why it cracked there. The forces just aren't that great right there.

    Attak Exhaust

I have another loud one in good shape :) It is on the shelf for the same reason you want a stock one.

Munisind MI Trails...the last 2 TY Rides.

I am all for reviving the Wawa, Ontario TY ride. This has been a low snow year, but they are getting more now. The exchange rate plus the gas prices would have made this a very economical year. Maybe something to think about next year . . . I didn't make it over to Muni during the last ride...

    Triton Trailer ?

Triton used a lot of Dexter axles. You can get replacements very reasonable online for complete axles, complete hub assemblies, brake assemblies, hubs, or any parts. Figure out which axles you have and find the prices online. It will likely help you make a decision. I don't see any reason to...

Apex front shocks 16.5 and 17.5 - did they change the length in certain year?

Apex front shocks 16.5 and 17.5 - did they change the length in certain year? I have done some searching but can't find a clear answer . . . I am trying to figure out if Yamaha changed from a 16.5" eye-to-eye to a 17.5" eye-to-eye on certain Apex / Attak models. Has anyone run the longer...
