You don't need the kit from slydog,just the rubbers. As far as the bushings,you need to have one bushing to the inside and one to the outside. Just run the stock bolt thru with the washers,and u should be good. I have the 6.9s with Shapers, on my XTX and with the hygear set up the sled handles...

If you check oil pressure with a gauge some where on the motor,that will likely tell you if you have damage. There should be a spec. range in a service manual. You could pull your valve cover and inspect the cam jurnals for scoring, since this is where lack of oil will show first. For the little...

Sounds like the oil is gone from the rear shock. Might need some new seals, or your hose may have a hole in it.

Aaen also has a new header out that's making around 7hp as well. I can post a pic if you want to see it.

Did the piston wear through the body or did something fall apart inside the shock?

Here are some plates a local machine shop is making to prevent the rails on the xtx's from ever bending. They get $60 a set, and I highly doubt the rails would ever bend with these installed.

Sledaheadgeorage, i think the opinions might be just a little biased toward the xtx when your header reads ATT. XTX OWNERS. Kinda like asking Chevy owners how good Fords are.

Call SlyDog,thier rubbers fit perfect and are nice and firm,unlike the spongy stockers,and will only run you $10 a pair.

AAEN exhaust will mount a Trapp disc set-up. He sells them separately.

Slydog ski rubbers fit rite into the pilots and are nice and firm(won't bag out like the stockers). Just $10 a set.

I think if the spacer was made from rubber,you would'nt have to worry about coil binding the spring as the rubber would give enough (squish), but would still take up the slack.

Call Slydog if you need a set of rubbers for pilots. Thet are only $10 a set and fit perfectly on that ski.
