I ordered my 2022 SRViper L-TX-GT on Mar 25 2021 and put down my deposit. My dealer said that it could be late January before my sled arrives. What info have you been told and have you been offered any compensation for your delivery delay?
I was lucky enough to be able to ride in Gaspe for a week. I took these photos on Cloud Mountain(near Lac-Alfred in the Chic-Chocs). There was a lot of wind up there and it was an uplifting feeling. If you get a chance to ride in this part of Quebec, grab it as there are so many breathtaking...
I can understand how the moisture got inside when it was that damp last fall. The heat from the sun will dry it out slowly. I hope that this works for you.

The display should be sealed but it sounds like yours is not. I bet that when the outside temperature gets above freezing, that the moisture will come out of it. If you get a warm sunny day, park your sled in the sunshine and allow mother nature to dry it out slowly. Let us know how it goes.

Connect an amp meter in series with the fan motor to see how much current it is drawing. You could do this with an external power supply or battery too if you didn't want to have the sled running. I see that the fan is powered from the ICS fuse(15 amp) and I would be surprised if the fan drew...
The first guideline in troubleshooting is to check the obvious. Your battery connection being loose would account for some of your issues. Time will tell if there are any more things that this had a affect on. Thanks for the update.
I think that you might have an issue with your battery or the cables(connections). Here in Ontario, I would take the battery to an auto store and get it load tested to see if it will put out the current that it is supposed to. I would then check all of the connections to the battery, starter...
I've had Rollerski wheels on my last 4 sleds. They work great and when I trade in the sled, I take them off and sell them as they usually won't fit on the new one. I get half price for them on resale. You can't see any wear on them as they are quality made and stand up very well.
I bought a 7639-383 for my 2017 ZR7000. I tried it on my friends 2017 Yamaha but it doesn't fit as the wings on the side of the windshield are different and don't match up with the hood. This windshield is 18" high and gives a lot of wind protection.
I know of another sled that has an issue with the starter gone bad and causing damage just like this. When you start the sled and it doesn't sound right, look into the noise immediately to try to keep the damage to a minimum.
12.2 volts is way to low to charge the battery. It could be the voltage regulator not allowing the voltage to run high enough to charge your battery. Check it out or take it to a dealer and get them to check it out.
I asked a retired friend who was a welder about welding a piece onto the chaincase and he was very hesitant about that as the case is a casting. If it was aluminum, no problem but he did not want to put any heat to it as he was unsure as to what would happen (probably melt or distort).
I put a 1/4" NPT stainless steel plug in my chain case. The plug is tapered and I tightened it until it was snug. There have been no leaks to date.
Correction: I used a 1/8" plug.
