I know on my 2004 Warrior when it gets too hot at idle it will shut down! Never shut down while running along with the light on though? I'm curious if this 2011 Apex will shut down at idle if it's running hot for a certain length of time? Don't know if either sled would shut down while running...
Just curious about when the Temperature light comes on. Will the sled shut down while your riding when it gets to a certain temperature, or does it only shut down while your idling?

I was looking at Power Madd's webpage and they recommend 6.5" of clearance between the bars and the windshield. Well I have more than this when the bars are straight, but when I turn them full left or right it reduces to 3.5"! Not looking good for the newer Apex :o|
Thanks Steiner ;)! I'm going to check out the Power Madd units. One thing for sure is the hand warmers on this new Apex are much better than the 04 Warrior I have. :-o
