    2011 Apex overheating question

I know on my 2004 Warrior when it gets too hot at idle it will shut down! Never shut down while running along with the light on though? I'm curious if this 2011 Apex will shut down at idle if it's running hot for a certain length of time? Don't know if either sled would shut down while running...

    2011 Apex overheating question

Just curious about when the Temperature light comes on. Will the sled shut down while your riding when it gets to a certain temperature, or does it only shut down while your idling?

    Mirror Question?

Is there any reason why you couldn't mount rear view mirrors on the side panels of the new Apex (2011-2014) like the 2006-2010 Apex? Just wondering?

I was alone when I was coming down the trail when I encountered Mr. Moose and did not know what to expect :o| So I proceeded slowly to see what (He or she?) was going to do, and it started running away from me :-o So on my way back to Bingham on the the same day :sled1: another Moose on a...

    Gauntlets or Hand Guards?

I was looking at Power Madd's webpage and they recommend 6.5" of clearance between the bars and the windshield. Well I have more than this when the bars are straight, but when I turn them full left or right it reduces to 3.5"! Not looking good for the newer Apex :o|

Thanks Steiner ;)! I'm going to check out the Power Madd units. One thing for sure is the hand warmers on this new Apex are much better than the 04 Warrior I have. :-o

    Gauntlets or Hand Guards?

Looking for some feedback on the bolt on hand guards that have mirrors attached to the ends! Looking to take care of 2 issues with one attachment! Got a new Apex and on those Extremely cold days the Gauntlets go on, (Do these bolt on Hand Guards eliminate the need for Gauntlets?) If so any...

    Apex Fully Equipped Ski's

The wheels are spring loaded in the up position (Just the way you see them in the pictures). When you have to go on blacktop (No snow) you manually engage them into the down position and they lift the ski's off the ground. You are now on the wheels saving your carbides! I have gone up to 50 MPH...

    Apex Fully Equipped Ski's

I made a set on the 04 Warrior and they worked extremely well considering the older RX's liked to overheat especially if there were low snow conditions. When I first put them on the Warrior back in 2005 I tested them on a lake up in Quebec and noticed a 4 MPH gain on the DM. Increased...
