    Who owns a Dodge 2500?

Terry, Just a little tip I learned from one of the owners at Jasper engines on the 48re.. When I had my Dodge, I had it chipped, 90hp injectors, intake elbow, etc, etc. I had started noticing a slight hesitation when starting it in the morning, where it would wait for a few seconds before...

Mobile 1 who uses it in Vector...etc

My only thing is that I wanted to use an oil that I could find easily. With most of my riding in the U.P., it's not a easy to find Yamalube if I were to ever need to. I would've actually been using Royal Purple all these years if it were easier to find up there too. Not that I expect to really...

Big Crank Battery vs Braille B106 CHEAP lightweight option

What is the size of the YTX20? Only problem is that some of us blower guys can't fit a full size battery in our sleds. I haven't seen a Yuasa that would even fit mine. My sled is set up a bit different than the MPI guys, and my battery sits in the nose of my sled where mpi puts the oil...

Big Crank Battery vs Braille B106 CHEAP lightweight option

I've only been able to abuse them for about 3 seasons now, so I have yet to really see how they hold up over the long run, but so far so good. I ran one dead this spring messing with my sled, so we'll see how we'll that one comes back after sitting dead all summer. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using...

    Looking at Bender exhaust help

If I have one it's been a few years. Ill need to dig out an old laptop and/or camera and see if I have one. Otherwise it'll be a bit before I can get one made. I've got my blower out of my sled now doing my pre season mods and service. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using Tapatalk

    Looking at Bender exhaust help

I'll look for a sound clip of mine somewhere, but I've had the Bender Trail on my '06 for many years. I love it. Not too loud, can be kept quiet when riding through town, but brings out that sort bike sound when you're on it. No drone, no obnoxious cackle or anything. Similar in sound to the...

Big Crank Battery vs Braille B106 CHEAP lightweight option

I've had the Braille for the ist several years, and purposefully NOT charged them over the summer, left them hooked up, let them sit outside overnight in the U.P. and they've been good to me over the last few years. I'm running the B106's, both on screw charged sleds, and they've done just fine...

    looking into remapping

I believe the instructions to set your CO settings via grounding the Delta Box connector are on Ulmer Racing's web page if I remember right. As far as remapping the ecu. My personal opinion is that while it's a viable option for some, I'd rather have a control box that I can make changes to...

Any MPI owners have a leak at the mag seal?

It sucks that the MPI kits make you put the seal and housing inside the stator too.. On mine they're pretty much exactly the same, but go on the outside, have a slightly longer shaft, and the pulley is offset to cover it. Im way behind on getting up into the sled shop to build kits this fall, so...

Any MPI owners have a leak at the mag seal?

I would just clean it once before riding it to find the leak. Dyes can still be a PIA, but that sub shaft seal is a common part number/size that you could probably order at any local auto parts store our bearing supplier. I might have a few if you haven't found one by now. Sent from my...

    2006 Attak Complete Rebuild

I'm on the tap talk app on my phone now, so I don't know if I can find the thread quickly, but I have an old thread in the 4 stroke garage from when I rebuilt my sled. Did it the summer/fall of '08 I believe. Try searching for it there, otherwise I'll try to get a link posted here when I get to...

    Bruce Schrader calling it quits

I thought HyGear did them as well, but wasn't sure if they still did them or not. I'm not sure if I can say I know anyone who's used their revalve service. I know lots of people including myself that use their springs and spacers though.

    Bruce Schrader calling it quits

Bruce went through my Apex shocks a few years ago, and it's definitely a huge improvement, but with him hanging it up, is there anyone else re-valving shocks out there? It's a common referral it seems to anyone struggling with handling issues. Hope there's somebody out there who can do as good...

    EASY WAY CHROME PARTS

Nearly everything on my Apex has been done in silver including all the bulkheads, Delta Box, steering parts, all front/rear suspension, etc, etc, etc.. You're going to like it for sure. It eliminates the minor corrosion and "aged" look in the areas that can't be cleaned easy. Post some more pics...

    2006 Attak Complete Rebuild

Just this recent season I found mine cracked in that same spot too. I can also tell it was cracked before it was powdercoated, so it's been that way for at least 5 years.. Might still pull it out this summer and TIG weld it and re-powdercoat it, but it doesn't appear to have been an issue.

2006 Apex Cooling Fan no Worky

The fan won't normally kick in until the sled is nearly overheated, so don't expect it to come on during normal riding.

    XTX rear end sag

The shock isn't going to do much with sag, ride height is in the springs. One thing to try is grease everything. Even though it's a low mile machine, the grease in the joints of the skid can get sticky when sitting over the summer.
