It is NOT legal in Minnesota for a kid under 12 to operate a sled on any state grant in aid trail. When they turn 12 and have a snow safety certificate they can operate a sled on state trails, they cannot cross any public roads until they turn 14. Sorry...I missed the accompanied by an adult...

I don't think there's an overall, good for every condition lens...The polarized lenses are awesome on Sunny days, ok in low light and terrible at night. I now have 4 different lenses for 2 pair of Aviator goggles. Polarized, Clear, Rose Tint and Bronze mirror...I hated to buy a clear lens cuz...

Talked to my dealer last weekend...He got an email from Yamaha a week ago saying my sled (among the others that he ordered) was built and waiting for shipment. Might be to the dealer by the end of next week!

It's not the fact that they're talking "bad" about it...they're not giving feedback on a production model. It reminds me of the 2002 Viper...every rag was saying it was the next best thing (based on prototypes again). I bit on their feedback and bought one...probably the worst sled I've ever...

The Viper should have 4-5 more HP because of the exhaust, not less. Snowgoer is a rag much like most of the mags that are basing all of their testing and results off hand-built prototypes. I rode the Viper XTX and my Nytro back to back in Grand Rapids last spring. The Viper was definitely down...

Total BS...come to the table in about3 months when someone has some actual seat time on a production unit and my guess its a very different story.

Yes, ski savers go under the carbide and make a huge difference. I didn't change anything else. I was more than happy with the set up

Talking with the yamaha folks at haydays yesterday, it sounds like production will start in two weeks and dealers should start seeing vipers show up the end of the month.

Bergstrom Triple Points with ski-savers...very expensive but more than likely the last set you'll ever buy. No darting and corners awesome.

Anyone know what kind of drivers are on the XTX viper? Extrovert I'm assuming? Hoping? I know its a 3 pitch. Can a guy stuff a 2.25" lug in there?
