Talked to my dealer last weekend...He got an email from Yamaha a week ago saying my sled (among the others that he ordered) was built and waiting for shipment. Might be to the dealer by the end of next week!

What did you order 2blue??
Lets say they can complete 100 sleds a day that would be 2500 a month. Could of produced our order in September and are then going on the 7000's for October. My guess is they are doing both at the same time.
My guess is they woudl be making like sleds at the same time to conserve production time.
That means making cat and yamaha 141 same time, 137 cat and yamaha and then the shorty. That would make more production and scheduling sense. Could be wrong and they do everything yamaha and then swith to cat. I would think all of the welding jigs and different things that they set up would make more sense to do all the same versions at the same time to save time and increase production if things are truly the same on the sleds and the internals can be switched when assembled.
The first yamaha guy to get a cat clutch or the cat sled to get a yamaha clutch will tell us what they did.

When we went last year for the tour they where using 2lines for sleds if I rember rite I think the guy said they can 200-250 a day on a line and they had 2 shifts a day an even shift I was told that they are going to build 10 k of vipers same as the cats 5k for the us an the rest for Canada an over seas.
