As a good rule, I listen every time I release the key for the starter to spin down. No real need for a indicating light to tell you the starter is disengaged. All my friends run yamahas too and do the same. 15,000 miles on my 09 nytro with original starter.

Have the OFT tip rails and Hartman extension. Had the same issue with tunnel extension cracking at the snow flap. Repaired it and installed my factory snow flap support and issue was solved. You won't be disappointed, nice product.

Check your upper chain chase seal. At high speeds with a slightlly over serviced chain case, oil can weep from the seal and be slung onto the oil tank.

At about 4500 miles I had to replace mine. They were wearing on the outboard sides of the plastic guide as if the torsion spring was not centered in the guide.

Installed extra wheels on OFT tip up rail extensions. Used Yamaha wheels and adapters. Drilled hole and fitted claw washer between transfer block and extension. Washer fits in perfectly.

Found both of mine cracked on my nytro this year under the steel "U" shaped clip, cover under warranty. Also had a set crack on my Phazer RTX. Had those welded and they did not last 50 miles.

I can not remember what dirrection the conical spring washers face on the upper shaft of the chain case. Does the cup side of the washers face in towards the gear or does the cup sides face away. I have found some photos here but they were not clear to me. Thanks

Bought the same roll-over kit. Noticed once I clicked confirm buy it states "shippment could take up to 21 days". Sure as #*$&@, 21 days exactly and it was at my door step.

Converting a short 121 to 144 with a OFT kit. Bought a XTX track and noticed that the clip window openings are larger than the short track. Will this have any effect.
