My sled has 1350 on it. Honestly it was very close. Side by side til 80-90 then I could put 1/2 to maybe a sled on him. Then we had to slam on the binders. Very very close race.his sled has 400 miles on it. We are both untudded. I like his sled alot. But I love the 4 stroke more...
Raced my buddy on his new to him 05 renegade. Track was very slushy wich I would think would help him a lil with the longer track. Sleds were pretty much dead even over about 6 runs. I could pull him a lil on top. In a long run I could beat him everytime. Sometimes he could jump me out of...
90 on my Vectors brake side. I think it helps with right handers. And I can now place my hand half on the hook half off and just use one finger on the brake. Seems more comfy.
push the secondary in and rotate it to the right at the same time you push it in. Im not sure if it will lock open but it will open enough for you to atleast get the belt started off. Its probably easier to remove the side panel first. Once you get an edge of the belt off just keep pulling it...

Me and a buddy were clowning around on Turkey Pond in NH. There was a guy there on an orange fcat with no stickers. He asked if we wanted to race. My buddy has a good running mxz800 and me a Vector. We lined em up and the f got me out of the hole by about 3 lengths. Ive never seen one jump...
Has anyone tried gearing up a Vector to get more top end? Im quite happy with the sled but I wish it had some more up top. And it seems to have plenty of low/midrange grunt. So maybe going up a tooth would be a happy medium?
Power madds are the way to go. The look a little cooler and they are adjustable without using tools. Plus they have an insert that pops out for those warm days.
just push the secondary in and twist it while pushing. Should open right up. I havnt changed one yet but the clutch is the same as teh Viper nad it was a snap on those.
I ran a 01 mxz 800 a zr 800 and an F-7 now keep in mind this was only about a 400 to 500 ft race. I beat em all, gods honest truth. The Vector is a quick sled low to mid. I have no doubts they would have beat me in a longer race. But boy was I smiling. They were like holy #*$&@ he just beat...
